The Student Peace Action Network is holding a festival on Septmeber 23rd. The event will be held at McHenry County College. The event will be held on the cafeteria patio if the weather is nice or otherwise in the cafeteria/commons area. It starts at 11:00am and will end around 7:00pm. There will be tie dying, kite flying, bean bag game, face painting, music, and a peace pole dedication ceremony at 11:45am in which a Buddhist monk will say a blessing. I attached the flyer I made, but it doesn't have much info on it. The Festival is called Woodstock Flashback, also on September 21st is International Peace Day, We have activities happening all week long in regonition of this day. Thanks.
